Couture Fashion Night 4.0: Zürich Brings Couture, Art, and Contemporary Luxury to The Runway
At The Dolder Grand, the fourth edition of Couture Fashion Night brought together 13 designers and creative voices, spanning couture, artisanal leatherwork, wearable art, and contemporary streetwear.
ZÜRICH — Colorful statement looks, sculptural silhouettes, intricate embellishments and contemporary interpretations of luxury defined the fourth edition of Couture Fashion Night, held on 17 October 2026 at The Dolder Grand in Zürich.
Presented under the banner The Swiss Luxury Fashion Gala, CFN 4.0 presented a diverse fashion programmed bringing together Swiss and international creative talent. The event placed traditional couture alongside artistic experimentation, artisanal craftsmanship and innovative approaches to everyday dressing. The event reflected the varied ways designers use fashion to communicate individuality, heritage, and creative identity.
Founded in Zürich in 2024 by couturier Ketty Núñez and luxury marketer Prat Das Kanungo, Couture Fashion Night was conceived to give designers a platform that connects creative expression with the wider luxury industry. The fourth edition continued that ambition through runway presentations, a curated exhibition and opportunities for designers, brands, media, and guests to connect.

The strength of CFN 4.0 lay in the diversity of its participating designers and labels. Rather than following a single aesthetic, the programmed explored the many ways contemporary fashion can communicate identity, craftsmanship and personal style.
Among the featured names were Ketty Núñez and Jean Luc Amsler, representing the world of couture and expressive occasion wear. Kathia Dobó Bridal & Couture brought a focus on dramatic silhouettes and decorative detail, while Céline Surdez’s Pardessus19 explored versatile design and timeless elegance.
Accessories and artisanal production formed another important part of the programmed. Cédric Perrier highlighted the appeal of carefully crafted leather bags integrated inside the Jean Luc Amsler show.
Inese Kamarūte’s DOBRZANSKA approached fashion as wearable art, combining individual expression with an emphasis on craftsmanship. Jennifer Gehr Art & Fashion brought an artistic dimension through hand-painted and embellished upcycled denim, transforming familiar garments into distinctive and sustainable creative statements.
The programmed also highlighted the relationship between fashion and heritage. Maria Marthaler Palaco’s MAKUMAYU connects contemporary design with Peruvian textile traditions and artisanal expertise, including the use of baby alpaca fiber.
Elsewhere, Cornelia Hagmann Art & Design represented the dialogue between art and design, while Roberta Orler’s unique portrait as the runway background added an art-led dimension to the creative line-up.
Dorentina Medunjanin’s PERRANDOR contributed to the curated designer line-up, alongside Gertrudis Adenauer’s SIERRA Zürich, whose “All Day Long” philosophy centers on versatile clothing for women navigating distinct roles throughout the day.
Completing the 13-name line-up, Mejor Francisco Streetwear introduced a contemporary urban perspective through its first collection. With creative direction by Ketty Núñez and technical support from Ahmad Kron, the label explores how comfortable, adaptable streetwear can retain a sense of sophistication.
Together, the designers illustrated a broad understanding of modern luxury — one that encompasses not only exclusivity, but also creative identity, material quality, versatility, and the stories behind individual pieces.

Couture Fashion Night extends beyond runway presentations, combining fashion with a curated exhibition and networking opportunities. The format brings designers into closer contact with luxury brands, media representatives, influencers, entrepreneurs, and potential collaborators.
This approach reflects the changing role of fashion events. Beyond providing a stage for collections, they can serve as meeting points where independent labels gain visibility, established creatives reach new audiences and partnerships develop across fashion, beauty, hospitality, and lifestyle.
The setting of The Dolder Grand reinforced the gala’s luxury positioning, while the programmer’s range of creative disciplines gave the event a broader identity than a conventional runway presentation.
A Swiss Platform with International Ambitions
For co-founders Ketty Núñez and Prat Das Kanungo, Couture Fashion Night is built around the ambition of strengthening Zürich’s presence in the international fashion conversation.
Núñez brings a couturier’s perspective and a focus on fashion creation. Das Kanungo, founder of Zurich. Influencers, contributes experience in luxury marketing, public relations, and brand collaborations. Their complementary backgrounds underpin an event concept that brings together designers, luxury businesses, and audiences in one setting.
The initiative also reflects a wider opportunity for Switzerland’s fashion scene: to create more visibility for local talent while building connections with international designers and the global luxury market.
The Future of Fashion Is Individual.
CFN 4.0 offered a reminder that contemporary fashion cannot be reduced to a single trend or silhouette. Its programmed moved between couture, statement accessories, art-led garments, heritage materials, and adaptable streetwear — distinct expressions connected by an emphasis on individual vision.
For emerging labels, such platforms offer a chance to present their work to new audiences. For established designers, they provide another setting in which to communicate their creative identity. For the wider industry, they create opportunities to discover talent and build relationships beyond traditional fashion capitals.
With its fourth edition, Couture Fashion Night continued to develop its identity as a Zürich-based platform with an international outlook.
The message of CFN 4.0 was clear: luxury fashion is not only about the finished garment. It is also about the imagination, skill and individuality that bring it to life. The CFN saga will continue and CFN5.0 will be back in autumn 2027.
