These Terms of Service set out rules for using the Fashionwalt website. Reading an article, browsing a category, or otherwise using the site means you accept what follows.
Two related documents sit alongside these terms. Our Privacy Policy covers what happens to personal information collected through the site. Our Editorial Policy covers how stories are researched, written, and corrected.
If you disagree with anything here, the right move is to stop using the site.
Sections covering functionality the site does not offer should be removed rather than left as filler, and the liability, indemnification, and governing law sections need review by qualified counsel.
Using the Fashionwalt Website
Use the site lawfully and leave it working for everyone else.
That means not breaking applicable laws while using the site, not interfering with how it runs, not attempting to reach areas or accounts you have no permission to access, and not uploading or transmitting malicious code of any kind.
It also means not harvesting content at scale through automated scraping, bots, or similar tools, and not copying material in ways these terms or copyright law do not allow. Site features exist for their stated purpose, and misusing them, including flooding contact forms, or abusing subscription tools, is not acceptable.
Normal reading, sharing a link, and saving an article for personal reference are all perfectly fine.
Intellectual Property
Original material created for Fashionwalt belongs to Fashionwalt or to whoever licensed it to us. That covers written articles, headlines, page copy, original photography and video, graphics, layout, and design, the Fashionwalt name and logo, and other editorial work produced in-house.
A great deal of what appears on the site is not ours. Runway photography, agency images, designer campaign material, brand logos, celebrity imagery, trademarks, and licensed content all remain the property of their respective owners, and we use them under license or applicable permissions. Nothing here claims ownership of that material.
You may read, browse, save, and share content for personal, non-commercial use. Anything beyond that requires permission.
Copyright & Content Use
Republishing our articles, reproducing substantial portions of them, distributing them commercially or building a product around them requires written permission from us.
Third-party material on the site carries its own restrictions. Permission from Fashionwalt does not extend to a photograph owned by an agency or an image supplied by a fashion house; those rights sit with the original holder and clearing them is a separate conversation.
Quoting a short passage with credit and a link back is standard practice and welcome. For anything larger, write to contact@fashionwalt.com and describe what you want to use and where it will appear.
If you believe material on the site infringes your copyright, contact us with details of the work, where it appears on our site and evidence of your ownership. We will review it and act where the claim holds up.
User-Submitted Content
Material you send us, including story tips, pitches, corrections, photographs, and messages, must be yours to send.
By submitting anything, you confirm you hold the necessary rights to it and that sharing it breaks no law and infringes nobody else's rights. Defamatory, abusive, fraudulent, threatening, or unlawful material is not accepted.
We may review, edit, decline, publish or remove submissions at our discretion. Unsolicited pitches and story ideas carry no promise of publication, response, or payment.

Editorial Content & Information
Fashionwalt publishes fashion, beauty, celebrity, red carpet and event coverage for information and entertainment.
Fashion news moves fast. Credits get confirmed after an article is published, collections change, dates shift, and details emerge later. We make reasonable efforts to publish accurate information, and mistakes still happen despite that.
Nothing on the site is guaranteed to stay current. For anything important, particularly event details, ticketing, product availability or prices, check directly with the official source before acting on it. How we verify facts and handle corrections is covered in our Editorial Policy.
No Professional Advice
Our coverage is editorial commentary on fashion, beauty, and style. It is not professional advice.
Beauty and skincare content are good examples. An article about a treatment, ingredient or product is not medical or dermatological guidance, and anyone with a skin condition, allergy or health concern should speak to a qualified professional before trying something new.
The same applies to any financial or business observation in our industry coverage.
Third-Party Websites & Links
Articles link outward to designers, fashion houses, retailers, social platforms, award organizations, event sites, and other publications.
We do not control those sites and linking to one is not an endorsement of its content, products, terms, or privacy practices. Once you leave Fashionwalt, the other site's rules apply. Any transaction or dispute is between you and that website, not us.
Checking the terms and privacy policy of any external site before sharing details there is a sensible habit.
Advertising & Sponsored Content
Advertisements may appear alongside editorial content. Sponsored articles, paid partnerships, and branded content carry clear labels identifying them as commercial.
