But this time, the fashion conversation came with another storyline: Zendaya was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for the third and final season of Euphoria — the category she had already won twice for her performance as Rue Bennett.

ZENDAYA’S PRADA EMMYS LOOK

Zendaya arrived at Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater in a custom Prada gown covered in shimmering silver sequins and beads, styled by her longtime collaborator Law Roach. Zendaya did not take home the trophy this time. Rhea Seehorn won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for Pluribus, beating Zendaya, Carrie Coon, Chase Infiniti, and Keri Russell.

Still, the nomination itself marked another milestone for Zendaya and Euphoria. She remained a two-time winner in the category, with her performances as Rue having already cemented her place in Emmy history.

If the trophy escaped her this time, the fashion conversation certainly did not.
